Birthday Readers - All parents are invited to have an adult family member (Mom, dad, grandparent, aunt, uncle, grown cousin, etc) in to read a story for your child's birthday or half birthday if they have a summer birthday! I will send a note home prior to your child's birthday or you can send an email.
Mystery Reader - Mystery Readers are surprise guests invited to come read a story to the class during our snack time without your 1P student knowing you are coming. This is a fun way to visit the class and surprise your child. Mystery Readers can be parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles, older siblings. Mystery readers usually happen once a week throughout the school year. If you are interested in being a Mystery Reader, please email me and let me know
Friday Photocopying/Activity Preparation - I would love to have some parent volunteers come in on Fridays to help me with copying and getting ready for the following week. Copying along with instructions will be left in the office for you. Once complete, you can leave it in my mailbox in the office. Thank you in advance for your help with this. This allows me more time to spend thinking about and planning for my time with the children. If you are interested in helping with Friday photocopying/Lesson Prep, please email me to let me know.
